Jordan Murrell


Jordan is an English born, soccer player who grew up in Toronto, Canada. Soon after moving to Canada, he was signed to 
Toronto FC Academy where he achieved a full scholarship to attend Syracuse University where he gained National recognition and individual honors throughout the years.

After, 2015 MLS Super Draft to 
Real Salt Lake. After spending a year in Salt Lake, he moved on to Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the USL where he fell in love with coaching through coaching in their nationally ranked academy. Spending most of his free time coaching different age groups in individual, small groups and team training sessions he learned from top coaches in the program. Murrell has also represented Canada in multiple competition from the U18 to U23 levels.

After a year in Pittsburgh, he moved on to play for Reno 1868 for the next two years where he competed in the USL Championship and playoffs in both years. While having a rigorous playing schedule, he was able to apply the coaching skills he learned in Pittsburgh to the community of Reno through individual , small groups and team training sessions. 

He is now entering his 5th year professionally as part of the first few signings for Valour FC in the Canadian Premier League. Jordan is excited to implement his skills that he has learned, on the field as a player, and on the sideline as coach.
